Essence to Essence, in collaboration with Toad.School, invites you into
WHOLENESS
Have you ever had tea with your soul?
What might you discover beneath the familiar?
Come with curiosity.
WHOLENESS is an intimate intentional ceremony, held across two live online circles
for preparation and integration and one in person ceremony day.
You are invited through application and suitability review.
The specific medicine held within this work is shared directly during your confidential intake.
The Journey
Each WHOLENESS gathering honours the rhythm of its season,
weaving ceremony alongside our everyday lives.
September 20 · Live Online Preparation | September 27 · In-Person Ceremony in Priddis | October 3 · Live Online Integration
-
Applications are currently open for Autumn WHOLENESS 2026. Begin with a confidential intake and thoughtful suitability review.
This process offers space to explore your intentions, reflect and consider together whether your participation can be safely and responsibly supported within this container.
Begin your application -
Sunday, September 20 · Live online · 11:00 - 12:30 PM (Mountain Time)
A 1.5-hour circle to meet one another, co-create the shared container, and prepare practically, emotionally and spiritually for ceremony.
Together, we will gently explore the astrological themes accompanying this seasonal journey: reveal, repair, and transform.
-
Sunday, September 27 · 11 AM–5 PM (Mountain Time)
An intimate ceremonial day held on private land in Priddis, followed by time for grounding, connection and a shared community dinner.
Wholeness is not the outcome. It is the ground from which we begin ♡
We will gather on the land with time to arrive, settle into the space and reconnect with the small circle before ceremony begins. The day is intentionally spacious, allowing room for individual pacing, ceremony, quiet, grounding and connection.
Afterward, we will not hurry the return. We will come back together over food and share a community meal before making our way home.
-
Saturday, October 3 · Live online · 11:00 - 12:30 PM (Mountain Time)
A circle for reflection, meaning-making and exploring how your experience may become embodied within your relationships and everyday Life.
During this gathering, we will also explore whether the group feels drawn to continue an optional three-month integration circle, meeting online every two weeks. This extended journey will be shaped and offered only if there is shared interest.
Come as you are
You do not need to arrive fearless, certain or somehow spiritually prepared.
You may feel curious. Nervous. Excited. Tender. Skeptical. Quiet. Ready. Not quite ready.
All of that can have a place here.
There will be time to settle into the land, meet the small circle and find your place in the space. There is no particular experience you are supposed to have, and yours does not need to resemble anyone else's.
After ceremony, we will not hurry the return. There will be room for quiet, warmth, food, laughter, tears, conversation or simply some space around you. We will share a meal before leaving the land.
Between ceremony and integration, there is time for rest, everyday life and noticing what unfolds.
Integration comes later, with room for what happened to settle into the ordinary texture of your life.
Gently expand your relationship to the WHOLENESS already alive within you.

-
Accepted participants will receive clear instructions regarding food, hydration, caffeine, medications and other substances once they are accepted. These instructions may be personalized by your facilitators following Dr. Trina’s review of your confidential intake.

There is no long list of things to bring along this journey.
A journal, if you'd like a place to write before or after. A blanket or shawl, both for warmth and for sitting on the land. Something small and personal, if you have an object that carries meaning for you, a stone, a photo, a written intention, whatever feels true. Dressing in layers will serve you well. Beyond that, come as you are, and we will guide you through anything more specific once your application has been accepted. -
The $440 Practical Care & Coordination contribution is non-refundable when a participant chooses to withdraw, as preparation and event costs are committed in advance.
If illness or an emergency prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the timing and costs already committed, we may be able to offer a credit toward a future WHOLENESS journey, although this cannot be guaranteed.
If we cancel the gathering, your $440 contribution will be refunded in full. If the gathering is rescheduled, your contribution will transfer to the new date; if you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund.
If Dr. Trina or Oasis determine after payment that your participation can no longer be safely supported, your $440 contribution will be refunded.
How care is held
-
WHOLENESS is held with a trauma-aware and nervous-system-conscious approach that values choice, collaboration, predictability, pacing and personal sovereignty.
You will not be required to disclose your trauma history to the group or explain a personal boundary. Invitations and optional practices may be declined without affecting the care you receive.
WHOLENESS offers ceremonial and integration support. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or a replacement for individualized mental-health care.
-
Consent is ongoing throughout WHOLENESS. You are welcome to ask questions, name boundaries, decline an optional practice or decide not to proceed with the medicine before it is offered. Your choices will be respected without pressure or judgment.
Supportive touch will be discussed in advance and offered only with consent. If immediate physical intervention becomes necessary during ceremony to prevent injury, the facilitation team will respond according to the safety agreements established with you beforehand.
-
Your confidential intake is submitted directly to Dr. Trina and used to support suitability and safety review. Information will be shared with the wider facilitation team only when needed to support your care.
Participants are asked to protect one another’s identities, stories and experiences. Photos, recordings, screenshots or identifying information may not be created or shared without the explicit permission of every person represented.
Because WHOLENESS includes group gatherings and a shared Signal chat, complete confidentiality between participants cannot be guaranteed. We support it through clear agreements, careful facilitation and ongoing reminders throughout the journey.
-
We understand decolonization as both a collective responsibility and an inward practice. It invites us to examine how inherited patterns of hierarchy, domination, extraction, disconnection and cultural erasure may continue to shape our institutions, relationships and inner lives.
Colonial systems have caused distinct and ongoing harm to Indigenous peoples, lands and living traditions. They have also disrupted ancestral relationships, cultural belonging and ways of knowing across many peoples and cultures. We seek to hold these realities without treating their histories or impacts as interchangeable.
Within WHOLENESS, this means practising with humility, consent, accountability and respect for personal and cultural sovereignty. Teachings shared through cultural or ceremonial relationships are carried only within the permissions, protocols and responsibilities through which they were received. We do not claim authority from traditions that are not ours or use those relationships as credentials.
For us, decolonization is an ongoing practice of noticing, learning, repairing and choosing more relational ways of being.
How do I begin?
-
The application is a confidential intake form submitted directly to Dr. Trina for review. It gives you space to share relevant health information, your intentions and any questions you may have.
Dr. Trina will review your application to determine whether your participation can be safely and responsibly supported within this container. She may contact you if further conversation or information is needed.
Submitting the form does not guarantee acceptance. If your application is accepted, your place in the circle will be confirmed once the required Practical Care & Coordination contribution of $440 CAD has been received.
-
Your donation (dāna) for ceremonial facilitation is freely chosen. If a guide is helpful, you might consider $100 if resources are tight, $250 if comfortably possible, or $400 if you would like to contribute more and pay it forward.
You may give another amount or nothing at all. Your choice does not affect your welcome, care or participation.
-
We are passionate about supporting access to healing, meaningful ceremonial care and ongoing integration.
If the required contribution presents a genuine financial barrier, contact us privately to explore what may be possible. Those with greater financial capacity are also welcome to offer a larger donation. These gifts sustain the people holding the work and help us create greater accessibility within future WHOLENESS circles.
-
You are welcome to begin with the application and email us your questions.
Completing the form creates space for questions and, when helpful, a private conversation to support your discernment.Submitting an application does not require payment and does not commit you to participating.
